PVC Purge is a mechanical scrubbing purging compound developed specifically for the removal of tenacious carbon build-up and deposits produced on equipment processing PVC polymers. PVC Purge is suitable for the extrusion, injection and blow moulding of PVC materials.
PVC degradation is accelerated by the presence of hydrochlorination as well as heat, resulting in painful amounts of carbon build-up. Common purging compounds do not clear this efficiently, causing frequent manual cleaning or pulling of screws, resulting in high labour and downtime costs.
PVC Purge eliminates this by using a mechanical scrubbing action that removes degraded PVC deposits from internal surfaces without requiring the use of chemical agents.
