Over the coming months, Aquapurge will hopefully be telling you a lot more about the activities and achievements of our enthusiastic new export sales team.
The figures coming back from Plast ’18 in Milan, for example, are frankly nothing short of amazing. A total of 357 new leads were counted in, many of those from plastics companies in Italian places where we didn’t even know there were places… but that’s another story as they say.
As well as building up our own talent Aquapurge continues to rely on a long-standing existing network of friends and distributors.
One key such partnership in the USA has been that formed with Ohio based MD Plastics. Kevin Durina – brother of founder Mike Durina – was kind enough to support our resurgent Barrel Blitz Universal Campaign in good time for the USA’s triennial plastics show, NPE 2018, Orlando, Florida, May 7-11th.
The NPE show was a great success, the biggest in that event’s history, with overall attendance, increased by some 2% and with than 2,180 exhibiting companies showcasing innovations in plastics in more than 1.2 million square feet of exhibition space. This year’s show included a total of twelve technology zones – five of which were new – and nine education programs.
Kevin Durina worked tirelessly in promoting the BBU message and benefits to the industry – giving it pride of place on the MD Plastics stand and also positioning strategic messages near entrances and show pathways. We are confident of very promising outcomes from the US in the coming weeks and months.
At Aquapurge we do much more than ‘get by with a little help from our friends’. Our associates, friends and business partners in the plastics industry are a key part of the company’s lifeblood over our 25+ year history.
